It’s officially Winter, a time to hibernate and stay home. But, if that’s not you, come and try out our Social Kung Fu class on Tuesday nights at 7pm. Just $2 per person, per class, with no sign-up or exit fees, start and stop at any time. Do as many as you can in the winter months for this fantastic price! Children, 10 and older, are welcome as well. Bring your family, bring a friend (or two). But it’s only valid from 1 June to 31 Aug 2026. You might learn some Wing Chun, maybe some Xing Yi, or Filipino Eskrima, some Tai Chi, but you’ll have fun, improve your coordination and get to meet some nice people. If staying home isn’t for you, come on down on a Tuesday night and join us. No tricks, no strings, no gimmicks! No matter what, we’re sure you’ll have fun and you’ll make some new friends! 2022 has certainly been an interesting year – emerging from two years of lockdown and the pandemic was a test for all of us at the Academy. But re-emerge we did, and the year has certainly flown by!

The Academy will be closing according to the following schedule: in Bentleigh, classes will finish as from Friday, 16 December; while in Werribee, they will finish as from Tuesday, 20 December.

We will resume in the New Year as follows: in Bentleigh, classes will resume as from Friday, 3 February; and in Werribee, limited classes will resume as from Tuesday, 24 January at the Grange Community Centre. That week will only be on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and on Saturday morning, all at the Grange. Full schedule of classes in Werribee will resume as from Monday, 30 January at the Crossroads Uniting Church hall.

PLEASE NOTE: all children’s classes will be combined to run alongside the adult classes in Werribee on Mondays and Thursdays, when classes resume in the New Year, starting at 7pm.
