Hooray – We’ll Be Back!!!

After almost a year, due to Covid-19 and the subsequent lockdown, the Qian Li Dao Academy is happy to announce that we are resuming face-to-face classes again!!!

Our Werribee/Hoppers Crossing classes, both for children and for adults, will resume as from Monday, 1 February 2021. We also want to inform you that we will no longer be at Wyndham Park Community Centre on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We will be returning to the Grange Community Centre on those two evenings, as well as on Saturday mornings again. The renovated centre there and more centralised location are the reasons for our return to the Grange.

Monday and Thursday nights will resume again at the Crossroads Uniting Church hall in Werribee. Please see our Where & When page here for all the details on where we will be, on what days.

Classes for our Bentleigh branch will resume as from Wednesday, 3 February 2021.

There will be certain protocols to comply with Covid-Safe procedures as we resume classes, and with regards to trial lessons. Please contact us by phone or email if you have any queries. Current students will soon receive an email or call regarding these updates.

Looking forward to moving forward with you all again, as we resume our Kung Fu journey together again!!! See you soon!!!

Season’s Greetings and Happy Holidays

Well, 2020 is coming to a close and now it’s Summer and time for the holidays. All of us here at the Academy want to wish you all a Merry Christmas; may you end this year on a happy and positive note. Spend some time with loved ones and friends during these summer holiday times. Fill them with happy and positive energy as you recharge and get ready for some fresh energy and new experiences in the New Year.

We are currently awaiting approval of paperwork to re-engage in physical, face-to-face classes again in 2021, and will soon post our re-opening times for the new year as soon as we know.

Thank you to all students who engaged in remote online classes during the lockdown and pandemic; we thank you for staying involved with your Kung Fu to help you cope with the anxiety and stresses that Covid brought to us all. But Kung Fu training is about coping with change and overcoming adversity, and we look forward to working with you again in the new year, as well as to welcoming new members to our family. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and we will see you all soon in 2021. Stay safe and enjoy your summer break!

Coronavirus Lockdown Reimposed

Due to the recent spikes in positive Covid-19 cases arising in and around Melbourne, Victorian Premier Dan Andrews has reimposed Stage 3 lockdown restrictions in the metro-Melbourne area for the next six weeks, beginning from midnight, Wednesday 8 July.

Given that, the Academy will NOT be reopening classes as planned for next week in compliance with the most recent events that we’re all dealing with.

Please check in here on our website, or on our Facebook page, for any amendments, changes and/or updates concerning the Academy and its planned re-opening when virus restrictions may ease. In the meantime, we hope all of our students, friends and supporters, here in Melbourne and around the globe keep well and stay safe.
